I ponder the same question that you draw our attention to. Your list of forgotten, yet in many cases ongoing conflicts, is comprehensive, but others can be included: the Russian invasion and continuing control of parts of Georgia; the long, continuing civil war in Myanmar; the longstanding and continuing kidnappings and killings in Northern Nigeria; Lebanon, Syria ... I remember some of them but that's largely down to personal history, but also because I'm a life long listener to the BBC World Service which, to its great credit, does continue to bring many of these forgotten and neglected conflicts to the attention of its listeners. As does France 24. And writers such as you on Substack. Thanks.
